My best friend over at DIYInspired.com had a birthday the other day, so we decided to spend the afternoon antique shopping. I just feel in love with all the Vintage Valentine’s items they had on display. I would like to take you on a little trip down memory lane or give you a glimpse of the past as you browse through the pictures of fantastic finds, while we travel through a few Antiques Store, at the Orange Circle in Orange, California.
I will start with the cards that first caught my eye, I vaguely remember the animal valentine’s below as a child. Not sure, if I handed some out or though pictures I had seen. It took all I had to not buy these precious valentines.
Another section was overloaded with Valentine’s that had been written on and a few blank ones as well.
At this point, I was very intrigued as a came across more and more Valentine’s, I really wish I had dates these amazing cards.
These Valentine’s had a little added character with fun embellishments.
As we browsed through the Antique shops we came across other Vintage Valentines, such as this fun Vintage Valentine’s sheet music.
I just loved this old box of Chocolate and napkins.
A few had newer items that were meant to look Vintage, like this one, which used burlap pennants and sterling silver platters with chalkboard paint.
This entire space in one of the Antique Stores had a new age vintage feel to it. I liked this tag rope strung across an old bench, simple yet sweet.
I did find a vintage Valentine in this booth too, tucked in an old curio cabinet, a beautiful three dimensional Valentine.
I also feel in love with these wings make out of sticks, simply beautiful!
I just loved all the Vintage Valentine’s and items we discovered. Stay tune for vintage baby doll toys that I photographed too.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your loved ones.
