My daughter Tiffany turned six years old this weekend. She is probably one of the sweetest girls I know. After school on Friday we went to Chuck e Cheese with a few of her closest friends from school. She spent her actual birthday at her soccer game and then off to the homeless shelter we went to make and serve dinner. I asked her if she wanted to go to dinner with the family and she choose to go to the homeless center instead. I truly love her! Then, Sunday we went to Disneyland as a family to celebrate.
Since, we decided to go to Chuck e Cheese for Tiffany’s birthday, I thought it would be fun to have little coin purses for each girl to hold their coins and of course all the tickets they will be winning. I headed over to Michaels and found these cute silicone coin purses in two different sizes. They even happened to be in the clearance section and in my daughter’s favorite colors blue, pink and yellow. “Score!”
The coin purses were plain, so I had this great idea to add the initial of each girl to the coin purse and maybe a few gems. After all, what girl doesn’t like a little bling. Soon, I realized that nothing I tried would make the letters or gems stick to the coin purse. After a little research on the web I found out, about the only thing that stick to silicone is silicone and I didn’t have the stuff I need for this. So, now I wasn’t sure what to do, so I grabbed a black Sharpie and began to write the letter of T on one of the coin purses. It stayed on the purse and looked really cute. So I continued to write the initials of all the girls on the coin purses. I’m not sure how long the ink will stay on but I figured it would last through the party.
