I don’t know about you, but there is always something that I want to make stronger by laminating it. Well, self adhesive lamination sheet are the winner. I love that you can buy the Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheets and you do not need a machine to seal them. Laminating paper is really an easy process. There are so many different types of laminates available; they range in thickness and size.
Below is a step by step to show you just how easy it is to laminate.
The first thing I did was find a laminate that had a high millimeter count so it would be strong enough to withstand the project I was using it for.
Then, I printed the labels that I needed, cut them out and placed them on the laminate paper.
Next, I peeled off the backing of a second sheet of laminate.
I carefully matched the corners of the 1st laminate with the labels on it and laid the 2nd laminate sheet down.
Once, the laminate sheets are together, run your finger over the laminate sheet to smooth out any air bubble and assure the seal in tight.
Here you have it. The labels are laminated.
Next, I placed the labels in a paper cutter to assure straight lines.
My labels are ready!
I will be using these labels for a basket that I will be placing under the benches in the dug out of my daughter’s softball team, so I added black gems to them because we are the Black Diamonds.
Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheets can help to preserve the paper or just protect it, if it is something you use often.
