Have you ever blown out an egg?? I have a quick tutorial on How to blow out an Egg, and it’s a lot easier than you would think. When unpacking the Easter stuff I found a few Blown out Easter Eggs which had a few cracks and one had a little hole, I became intrigued and had to figure out how to make one myself. I tried a few different techniques and found an easy simple one to share.
What you will need:
- Push Pin
I tried using a needle, nail and push pin and found that a push pin worked perfectly for this job.
First, hold the egg firmly in your hand, with just enough pressure not to break it. Then, press gently with the push pin on the smallest end of the eggs first using gentle but firm pressure. Once, I created the one hole I flipped the egg over and made a hole on the other end. Make the hole on the bottom of the egg slightly bigger.
The two finished holes will look like this.
Once, you have the holes poked on both sides of the egg, use your mouth and blow through the smaller hole. Make sure you are over a bowl when you blow out the egg. You wouldn’t want the eggs to go to waste…maybe make some scrambled eggs. If you are having a hard time getting the yoke out, you can use a wire to break the yoke or make the hole slightly bigger.
Your eggs are now ready for you to get crafty with them…I can’t wait to show you what I did with mine so stop back and check them out.
