The Holiday Season has kept me busy this year and our Elf on the Shelf, Holly too. She has been wreaking havoc around the house and just hanging around in some fun places. My daughters cannot wait to go to bed to see where Holly will show up the next day. It is amazing to me that my two year old twins even like to find Holly in the mornings, definitely fun for the whole family.
Holly showed up the first day with donuts, marshmallow, new dishes and hot chocolate for the girls. She made a big mess when she set the table. Holly even wrote the girls name in the powder sugar on the table.
These little ladies where so excited to see Holly again!
Holly likes to hide in simple places sometimes; here she is hanging out smelling the flowers.
Our family went and picked out our tree kind of late in the evening so we only had time to put the lights on. Holly decided to decorate it herself that night. She even wrote her name on the tree.
One night Our Holly didn’t move and we were not sure why. (wink) So the next night morning Holly brought this note and some special chocolates.
“I’m so glad your mommy went to bed early…I missed seeing SANTA..Be good and here is a little treat from Santa.” Apparently, the Elf can’t fly if Mommy is awake too late. (Wink Wink)!
Holly decided to hide in the ornaments! Such a simple spot, but the girls had a hard time finding her.
Holly like to use our Christmas decorations for hiding places and to do fun things with, here she wrote the names of the girls on the nice list! My girls were very happy to see this.
The girls were having a hard time getting along and Holly was tired from explaining to Santa that they are good little girls so she found a bed to curl up in for the day and left the girls a note.
Holly hanging out reading a Christmas Card we just received in the mail!
I just love that Holly shows up in so many places. Some days Holly does fun things for the girls or brings them treats and other days she just finds a simple place to hang around on! We love our Elf on the Shelf, “Holly”.
