Every year, I let my girls choose to make or buy Valentine’s and once again they decided to create their own, here you have it, Foam Butterfly Valentine’s chosen by my four year old daughter! We headed over to the 99 cent store and we came up with stickers (any little ones true love), foam butterfly, and lollipops (another true love of little ones.) It’s not too late to make homemade Valentine’s and can be executed in about 20 minutes from start to finish.
What you will need:
- Foam Hearts
The first thing my daughter did was simply put stickers on the foam butterflies.
Then, we poked hole in the middle of the butterflies about one inch apart using the stick of the lollipops, I had to help my daughter with this process. A paper hole punch might have been better at creating the holes but my daughter was so impatient that I just used the lollipop stick.
Then, my daughters weaved the lollipops through the holes.
