My Mother-in-Law purchased this cute Easter Tree with flowers, but she felt it seemed a little plain. So, we decided to make Easter Egg Ornaments for the tree. The process is really very simple and it made a huge difference on the tree!
What you will need:
- Mini Plastic Easter Eggs
- Hot Glue
The first thing we did was cut all the ribbon about 6 1/2 inches, which gave us about 3″ of hanging length and 1/2 inch on each side of the ribbon to glue to the egg. Then, cut a second ribbon at about 12 inches, tied a bow and set the bow aside. These dimensions can vary to fit the size of the egg you are using.
I used hot glue to adhere the ribbon to the top of the egg.
Next, I took the bows that we tie earlier and hot glued them to the top of the egg at the bottom of the ribbon we glued earlier.
Here is another picture of a few more Easter Egg Ornaments we created.
I just had to share this picture of my partner (my daughter Tiffany) while creating these cute ornaments. She was a huge help in deciding which color ribbon to use together.
Our finished Easter Egg Ornaments! These ornaments dressed up this Easter tree decoration just perfect.
