Do it yourself spirit wear!!! I love this type of stuff…I always seem to do it last minute, but it is so easy to do, you can produce several in the matter of minutes. Every year my friends and I get together for a Couples Olympics and each year the Olympians get more and more creative with what is worn. This year I wanted to make spirit wear for my entire family!
You will need:
- Iron on print sheets
- Shirt or Clothing Article
The first thing I did was figure out a logo that I liked for your shirts. We decided to call ourselves Team Hoss, so I used a photo editor program to create a logo. Once, I had the logo I used mirror image to print the logo reversed so it would iron on the shirt the right way. Please follow the instructions on your Iron On Transfer pack, each company varies a little. After I printed my logo, I cut out the logo, when cutting I left about a 1/4 centimeter border around the logo.
Next, I used a ruler to center the logo on the shirt or tank top that I was transferring the logo to.
Once, I had the logo centered, I ironed on the logo according to the package and removed the backing to the iron on sheet.
Here is a pictures of the finished products.
As you can see from the pictures above, I was able to transfer the iron on to several different shirts! I also wanted to share with you the custom hat that I made by simply gluing on a felt mustache. One of the requirement for the Couples Olympics was to wear the mustache so we added it to a $3.oo hat from the Walmart and it’s actually cute.
