Alice in Wonderland Party Cake and Food Ideas

There were so many components to our Alice in Wonderland Party, I am still going strong with things to share with you.  In this post, I will be sharing Alice in Wonderland Party Cakes and Food Ideas along with the signage to go with them. The signage is simple to execute and the sweet treats look fabulous and taste delicious.

Let’s start off with the Signage.

Above the food table, I placed a sign made from a store bought wooden frame, I purchased at Micheal’s and added a piece of 12 x 12 card stock as a diamond shape in the rectangular opening.  I cut EAT ME out of black cards stock and glued it to the cards stock in the frame. This sign was simple, easy to execute and large enough to make a strong impact.

I added a ribbon to the sign and hung it on a window above the food.

Here are few signs we placed in the food, I used the cricket machine to cut out frames and then added the printouts I cut into squares by taping it to the cut out frames.  Next, I  glued the frames onto a skewer.

I used the skewer Eat Me signs in the food we served!

The last of the food signs were probably the easiest to make. I simply cut out tags, used a hole punch and tied a ribbon on the tag.  I printed with a sharpie; Water, Fruit Punch and Strawberry Lemonade on the tags.

On to the Desserts:

Once, again I am so lucky to have some talented bakers in my family.  My Mother-in-Law made two teacup cakes, one for each of the birthday girls with their names on them.  So cute, every little one year old needs a cake to dive into on their first birthday.

Here is a little closer look at the one of the Teacup cakes.

My Mother-in-Law figured she didn’t have time to make a cake for the guest, so she ordered one from a local bakery, they did a great job!

Jim’s Cousin Heather at Have a Ball Catering  made these cute little eat me cookies, just like in the movie.  Oh and they are the best shortbread cookie I have ever eaten.

The EAT ME Cookies looked just scrumptious displayed on the dessert table for the guest.

I also wanted to share with you a the paper top hats that we made out of the card stock to hold our utensils.

Here is a picture of the complete dessert table.
